La Honda Winery - Located in Redwood City, not only their location is a surprise - they have a beautiful, very cool tasting room (inside a warehouse that's between an old industrial area and a residential neighborhood) that both surprises and welcomes with its high celings, beautiful floors, a fireplace and a great tasting bar, and best of all - amazing wines and fantastic hospitality.

La Nebbia - Located in Half Moon Bay, La Nebbia's Tasting Room is open 7 days a week.

Thomas Fogarty - High atop the ridge in the Woodside section of the Santa Cruz Mountains, with beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay Area. Fogarty makes estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and even a wonderful Gewurztraminer.

Woodside Vineyards - A quality, small-production winery known for its Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Estate-bottled old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, along with other specialties including sparkling wine and port. Woodside Vineyards is now located in Menlo Park and open by special appointment.

Some of these wineries have restricted hours, or are not open to the public, except for special events. South Bay Wine Tours has special access to many wineries, with certain restrictions. (Please call for specific details on the wineries you are interested in)
