Next time you're thinking of touring the Summit wineries (for a group of ten or more) - we hope you'll give us a call: 408-867-9661
Just in case you're dying to dust off your Hawaiian muu-muu and head for the hills, the Summit wineries in Los Gatos will be ready for you this weekend!!
Enjoy festivities at Burrell School, Loma Prieta, MJA, and Wrights Station! Here are some highlights of what will be happening:
Burrell School: 11 am to 5 pm. Music and decor of the islands at the little red schoolhouse winery. Dress in festive island garb and be prepared to get “lei’d!” Enter to win a basket of Hawaiian treats, including a ukelele. Food treats include Bill the Oyster Man (Saturday only) and Cowboy Toffee.
Loma Prieta: Opens at 12 NOON. Don your favorite Hawaiian garb, grab a lei or two and get ready for some music that will whisk you away to the islands. This is the tiny winery with the big views and the rare and unusual Pinotage!
MJA Vineyards: 12 NOON to 6 pm. Visit the winery that started all the Hawaii buzz in this little wine area - MJA! Why? How? You'll just have to visit to find out, and your reward could be some chocolate-covered Kona coffee beans! Oh yeah!
Wrights Station: 11 am to 5 pm. At Wrights Station, enjoy live Hawaiian slack key guitar both days & Bill the Oysterman on Sunday only. They'll be celebrating the islands all weekend. Come for the music, slug down some oysters or grab a picnic at Summit Store, put on your leis, and most importantly, drink some great Pinot Noir!
